What is ABA Therapy?
According to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is “the science of behavior, with a history extending back to the early 20th century.” ABA largely focuses on behavior and the events that happen immediately after the behavior. ABA techbiques generally teach more effective ways of communicating via positive reinforcement and the environment to help modify behavior.
Does my child need to have autism to receive ABA?
No, you do not need to be diagnosed with autism to benefit from ABA therapy but unfortunately, at this time, insurance will only cover the services if you have autism.
Do you accept my insurance?
We are currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Cross Community Health Plan. We would be happy to become an in network provider with your insurance as well.
